INTRODUCTION TO ARSENAL SOCCER SCHOOLS

Welcome to Arsenal Soccer Schools, a key component of Arsenal Football Club’s global community programme has arrived in Thailand. Established proudly in various parts of the world and aggressively growing in footprint, the school is a firm foundation for a fun-learning soccer environment.

The interesting curriculum provides for defined soccer skills to be learnt within a structured surrounding. Whilst soccer remains the principal education, it also offers opportunities for developing positive social skills and values through the exchanges the children will have within a community that is non-discriminatory of race, language, religion and background, which is indeed clearly representative of Arsenal Football Club.

Arsenal Soccer Schools are very important to Arsenal Football Club as it provides hundreds of children the opportunity to be part of a wonderful football club whilst the players are exemplary role models.

Here in Thailand, we aim to be consistent to the Arsenal way of things and aim to foster and grow Arsenal’s beliefs of how soccer should be played from a very young age whilst fun remains a core part of the learning setting. We also aspire to cultivate well-rounded individuals in an atmosphere that is totally inclusive.

The School offers various coaching programmes for different age groups, both in-house and outreach programmes, including opportunities to play in competitive matches at fixed training intervals. The children’s progress will be continuously monitored and evaluated so that special talents can also be progressed through the ranks.

As the likes of Francesc Fabregas, Robin Van Persie, Theo Walcott, Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor and company inspire on a weekly basis on the television, so will the Arsenal Soccer School in Thailand.

ARSENAL SOCCER SCHOOLS BACKGROUND 

Since established 15 years ago Arsenal Soccer Schools has been serving to inspire children and coaches by developing links between them and Arsenal Football Club. The School has always remained open to children of all walks of life, abilities and background.

As part of the Arsenal in the Community programme, the formula has been to train coaches who in turn coach the children with approved Arsenal Soccer Schools materials and methods. Over time, the programme has continuously evolved into a world-class soccer programme that has seen rapid establishment of 20 schools worldwide and still counting. Hundreds of courses are conducted across the United Kingdom and this is ever increasing due to the demand. Endorsed by the brilliant Arséne Wenger, Arsenal Soccer School needs neither sanction nor introduction.
