The 20th PKCF Cup was well-received with 13 teams, both old and new including: Bangkok Galaxy, ELS, SWIT, Phoenix, Deep Team, Bad Romance, BBC, Indian All Stars, French Team, PESFA, Johnnie Walker, President Devil, and Totti Team. Not only did we have more teams competing but we also enjoyed the company of some cheerful female supporters who brightened up the tournament! The teams were divided into 3 groups. In Group A, both Deep and SWIT teams entered into the semi-final, Group B went to Indian All Stars and French Team while Group C saw Totti Team and President Devil compete in the semi-finals. Each team fought for their right to enter into the final resulting in the Indian All Stars and SWIT team making it to the final. The match was a draw 2:2 and had to be decided on a penalty shoot-out. Finally the Indian All Stars won by 3:1. The best player of the 20th PKFC Cup was awarded to Annop; the goal keeper of the Indian All Stars team, who saved a penalty shoot (and many other goals!) enabling the Indian All Stars to win the trophy. The Indian All Stars team haven’t played in the PKFC Cup for quite a few months and managed to win the tournament. What a great come back!
